5 years ago a Parikrma team for the Inter-school Athletics Meet, where more than 5,000 athletes from over 150 of Bangalore's best schools participate. One child went to the next heat of the 200mt race. The next year we came back with 3 medals. In 2006 we got 9 medals which included 5 Gold's and two meet records and in 2007 we got 13 medals. The progression has been amazing. Three times in a row Parikrma was voted the most improved team.

Athletics provides a great platform for our children to integrate with children coming from good private schools. It also helps condition our children so that they can perform better in other sports.
