The Format

The Parikrma Champions League is a full ranking tournament. There is a Cup as well as a Plate section. The top 8 teams play for the Equality Cup while the bottom 8 teams play for the Plate Section. The other format features of the tournament are the following;

• 16 teams
• 4 groups of 4 teams each
• Top 2 teams in each group after the league matches enter the Cup Section starting with quarter-finals. The bottom 2 teams enter the Plate Section starting with quarter-finals
• League match and quarter-finals of 20 mins each half with a 5 min break
• Semi-finals and finals of the Cup Section of 30 mins each half with a 10 min break
• The entire Plate Section from the quarter-finals has matches of 15 mins each half including matches for 16th to 9th positions.
