When the Karnataka Taekwon-do Association approached us to provide free coaching after school, we grabbed the opportunity. Little did we know that in a matter of just a few months our children would not just excel but set a whole new standard at the state and national levels. A Parikrma child was named 'Fighter of the tournament' in the South Zone tournament and our children won 4 Golds and a Silver and Bronze apiece representing Karnataka State at the 24th Nationals. A few of our children have made it to the Indian National Team and will now travel the world representing our country! In a game that is just gaining some momentum in the country, our participation has come at an opportune time. And our children have grabbed that opportunity.
