What We Do
For an underserved child to break out of the severe limiting physical living conditions and live a meaningful life, it is imperative that the education being imparted is not just about the quality of curriculum but about preparing the child for life ahead.
Parikrma children scale new heights!
The last few months have brought a sporting bonanza of great performances and medals galore. In Taekwon-do our young U-13 team won 8 medals including 5 Golds at the South Zone finals. Then, six of our children representing Karnataka State at the 24th National Taekwon-do Tournament won 4 Golds and a Silver and Bronze medal at India’s highest level of competition. A few of these children will now travel to Kazakstan and Belarus to take on the world as part of the Indian National Team.
In football we won the Mir Iqbal Hussain Trophy for the 2nd year in a row. Two of our children were selected for the Karnataka State Team at the South Zone tournament and then after winning the Zonals they went all the way to the final at the National level. These two players may get a call for the Indian U-15 team! We also won the U-12 and U-16 categories of the XLR8 inaugural 5-a-side futsal tournament.

Children's Art in Boston, San Francisco and New York
Art has flourished in Parikrma. And it is the amazing latent talent of our children as well as the skill of our teachers that have made it happen. Our children have won several accolades for their art. Even our art teachers have won prestigious national awards for their work with our children.
Space Club - The NASA connection
As part of the Synopsys Universe 2U program the 'Space Club' has been launched to help the children grasp the sheer beauty and magnitude of our Universe. Based on their interests, 60 children from grades 6-9 have been selected in this club, which is administered by the children themselves.
