The James Webb Telescope , an international collaboration led by NASA with its partners the European Space Agency and the Canadian Space Agency, is the biggest telescope ever launched into space. It will unlock mysteries in our solar system, look beyond to distant worlds around other stars, and probe the mysterious structures and origins of our universe and our place in it. After unfolding into its final form in space and successfully reaching its destination 1 million miles from Earth, the observatory now is completing the months-long process of preparing for science operations. Webb will explore every phase of cosmic history – from within the solar system to the most distant observable galaxies in the early universe, and everything in between.

NASA will live broadcast the release of the first full-color images and spectroscopic data from the James Webb Space Telescope on Tuesday, July 12, at 8.00 PM IST from NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland. Chiguru Colab, a space education and research startup based in Bangalore will be conducting an event to aware the students regarding the importance of Webb Telescope at Parikrama Centre for Learning, Sahakarnagar, Bangalore on 12th July 2022, 6.00 PM – 8.30 PM. Chiguru’s event will be featured by NASA during their live broadcast in NASA.gov and across the agency’s social media platforms. Chiguru’s participants will be getting a chance to be part of this historic moment in world space research.
